1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the EveryPound website (everypound.app), including its calculators, and the EveryPound iOS app. By using the site or the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them. EveryPound is published by Boa Esperanca Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. The calculators are guidance, not advice

Our calculators are free tools for illustration and education. They make simplifying assumptions, such as a steady annual investment return or a standard tax position, that will not match anyone's exact circumstances. Investment figures are projections, not promises; investments can fall as well as rise. Tax figures are estimates for the stated tax year and do not cover every code, allowance or edge case.

Nothing on this website is regulated financial, investment or tax advice, and we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Always check important figures against your payslip, your provider or HMRC, and consult an FCA-authorised adviser before making decisions.

3. The EveryPound iOS app

The app is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (apple.com/legal/.../stdeula), which applies in addition to these terms. The in-app coach, Addy, gives general guidance only and is not regulated advice.

Optional Plus and Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple via the App Store and auto-renew until cancelled. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the site or app for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or impair them.
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with other users.
Do not reproduce, copy or resell any part of the site, app or content without our written permission.
Do not reverse-engineer or decompile the app except where the law allows.

5. Intellectual property

All content here, including text, graphics, the EveryPound name and brand mark, and the underlying calculator code, is owned by or licensed to Boa Esperanca Group Ltd. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, the calculators or the app, nor for decisions you make based on their output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or app shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
